Online workshop on Motivation and Skill Development

Report on workshop organised by Ummeed Counselling and Consulting Services

An online workshop on Motivation and Skill Development was conducted on 1.10.2020, 3.10.2020, 5.10.2020 and 30.12.2020 for the Classes - VII & VIII, Senior Class, Class- VI  and Class - Vrespectively. It started at 9:15 a.m. and ended at 11:00 a.m. The resource person of the session were Ms. Trina Guhathakurta and Ms. Pinky Bannerjee. Both of them are eminent counsellors of UMMEED COUNSELLING AND CONSULTING SERVICES, an agency run under the guidance of our School Advisor Ms. Salony Priya.
The session focussed on the basic elements of a student’s academics, such as- Concentration, Memory Enhancement and  Retention Techniques.

The main objectives of the session were as follows –

1. Psychology and it’s relationship with education
2. Role of a psychologist or a counsellor
3. Different techniques for memory enhancement and retention
4. Suggesting students as how to keep themselves organized
5. Helping them in identifying their abilities and skills.

it was a very interesting as well as informative session and the speakers left no stone unturned to share their message with the students. At the end, the students were asked to share their feedbacks into the chat box. Some of them are mentioned below –
